- tin plate straight track sections (ref. 566),
The track is made entirely in steel sheet. This kind of track is used for clockwork trains only. Initially, the track sections had 2 pins and a lock system only at one end. Quickly, this track system was replaced by track sections with 1 brooch placed in diagonal at each end of the track section, because it was impossible to build a railway layout with one curved followed by one counter-curved. The lock system was removed after 1954 in order to simplify the production. At this time period, the tin plate track sections range includes straight track sections, curved track sections, right and left hand manual switching points and a diamond crossing (90 degrees). Each switching point replaces one curved track section and one straight track section. Switching points and diamond crossing are delivered with a buffer. The diamond crossing (90 degrees) allows to build railroad layout in eight figure.
