Jouef track sections 1954 - straight track sections (ref. 566),

The track is made entirely in press plate metal. This kind of track is used for clockwork trains only. The first release of these track sections had 2 pins at one end of the section, and a bolt. Quickly, those track sections were replaced by track sections with one pin at each end because it was impossible to build a network with a curved section followed with a curved section in opposite direction. The bolt was removed after 1954 for simplifiefd process. The range includes a straight track, a curved track, right and left manual switching points and a diamond crossing (90 degrees). Each switching point replaces one curved track and one straight track. Switching points and diamond crossing are delivered with a buffer. The diamond crossing (90 degrees) allows to build railroad network in eight figure.

We may add that also exists a curved track with a manual control column which allows to invert moving direction for the clockwork locomotive "Diabolic". When you operate this control column for the locomotive to come, a stud under the locomotive allows it to go in the opposite direction.
