Jouef road vehicles 1ᵗ serie
This first issue of six vehicles are reproduced in a very simplified way (Citröen DS 19, Panhard Dyna, Peugeot 203, Peugeot 403, Simca Ariane, Simca Aronde).

All the models have the same specifications:
- plastic body available in several colors
- headlights and rear lights with a touch of paint
- grey plastic frame with embossed characters
- reproduced model name
- markings
Made in France
- variable markings depending on variant
- body glued on frame
- no glazing
- functional white, grey or red plastic wheels
- red painted rims, unless otherwise stated
There are several variants of these models of the first series which differ by minor changes on the frame (markings and front bumper):

Afterwards, all frame have been modified. The main modification is the logo Jouef
erasing in the diamond shape, leaving a round footprint at its location. Also some modification on front bumpers of Peugeot 203, Peugeot 403, Simca Ariane and Simca Aronde. More details pictures on the dedicated page of modifications. These modifications allowed to make several variants for different customers. Between 1963 and 1968, there is no recording in any catalog or in any price list of these vehicles, but but they were in production and used as loads for the car transporter SNCF with Diamond
bogies (ref. 654).
