Cette locomotive a été reproduite dès 1969-1970, selon les standards de l'era. Ce n'est qu'en 1994 que Lima a entièrement refondu son modèle (ref. L208029) with l'adoption d'une nouvelle motorisation and d'un metallic frame communs pour la famille des diesels 67000/67300/67400 SNCF. L'ancien modèle a néanmoins continé sa carrière dans les starter train sets.
