During the 14^th edition of the salon du train miniature d'Orléans (November 2014), Hornby France announced the launch of new Diesel locomotives BB 67400 SNCF program. These new models will not use any part of the previous Lima models and it will be the continuation of the Diesel locomotives BB 67000/67200/67300 SNCF program launched in last quarter of 2014. The body sides and the Y217 bogies will use new toolings, which allow to reproduce specific details of each locomotive as requested for the present quality level of reproduction. Only the front cabs and roof are joint with the Diesel locomotives BB 67000/67200/67300 SNCF program.
