About BB 16001 SNCF in red Capitole livery

Jouef has sold under reference ;834 EI some scale model locomotives BB 16001 SNCF with a red body in Capitole livery individual boxes, in addition to the first batch of Capitole train sets, according to the Jouef strategy to follow the SNCF main events. Why ? under pressure of competitors (Gégé, Maerklin,...), put on the market an approximate model with Capitole livery in order to wait the manufacturing of the red BB 9288 SNCF locomotives ? Out of stock of BB 9288 SNCF locomotives ? Sale of BB 16001 SNCF which cannot compete with the Hornby model (BB 16009 SNCF) ? This mystery has never been fathomed.
The locomotive had an old inverted lights system (it looks like a flat capacitor instead of the black Zener diodes).
